Hello, I am
Kristina Rieger

Interaction Designer
Make people forget they are using an interface.

At the beginning of 2017, Kristina joined IXDS as an Interaction Designer to work among an interdisciplinary team on new ideas for the future. In her daily work, she creates smart and easy-to-use products and services with the aim to make people’s lives easier and more enjoyable

She discovered her passion for human-computer interaction and designing concepts for interfaces during her Interactive Media Systems studies at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, where she graduated with a Master of Arts in 2016 —this qualified her in both design and computer science. For her master thesis, she developed the smart-home-integrated alarm clock “solis”, which wakes you up comfortably. Besides developing the concept, the interaction and interface design, she also created a working prototype.

During her studies, Kristina worked at an agency specialized in interactive communication, gaining experience in conceptual design, usability, user experience, and prototyping.

In her spare time, Kristina likes cooking and trying new recipes, learning jazz dance or fighting monsters with and against her friends in the card game Munchkin.
