Ever wanted to immerse yourself in a space that’s yet to exist, or shape human experiences in and out of reality? Then join us at our Munich Pre-Work Talk on Thursday, October 18, where we’ll be seeing what the world looks like in XR (Cross-Reality) and showing you what’s possible for design with the convergence of VR, AR and MR.
XR is being used to enrich the way we build physical, digital and social spaces, by changing how we realize architecture, manufacturing and the construction of workplaces and institutions. At this Pre-Work Talk, we’ll delve into the future that beckons with talks from experts who are working in these fields, merging our worlds in their day-to-day explorations.
Taru Muhonen, Co-founder of Teatime Research, a creator of XR experiences for architecture and construction, will present cases where XR has been adopted by organizations to realize a building and its interiors through a virtual environment.
We will then hear from Stephan Rein from our human industries Venture, who will add to the discussion on where design and tech can be merged to face challenges in industrial contexts. He will state the case for why Industry 4.0 will fail without design, and how we can mix our digital and analogue worlds for a more sustainable smart future.
So swing by, grab a cup of joe, and let them take you on a journey into another world! We’re already on the edge of our seats! See you at 8:30 for coffee and networking; the talk kicks off at 9am!
