HR Safari Getting on board the inspiration tour

Berlin
IXDS GmbH, Paul-Lincke-Ufer 39–40 · 10999 Berlin
On October 27, a big vintage school bus could again be seen making its way along Paul-Lincke-Ufer, which could mean only one thing: it was time for another HR Safari.

Twice a year, the team from the Good School bring together a group of 20 HR professionals for an inspiration tour, dropping into workplaces around Berlin that are thinking out of the box in their approach to organizational and team structures.

It describes the itinerary as: “20 recruiters going on safari, crisscrossing Berlin to experience the Internet and digitization in the wild and to acquire important, fresh, innovative HR expertise.”

Representatives from companies such as Tchibo, Bosch and HanseWerk were amongst the participants who over two days took part in workshops and were exposed to fresh ideas, new technologies, and controversial talks.

They visited places such as Blog Fabrik, Axel Springer and Hubraum. And, as always, we were very pleased to welcome the group to our Berlin studio where our CEO Nancy Birhölzer said a few words, and Design Lead Katina Sostmann explained how we are experimenting with organizational design, which is built on transparency, flexibility and following the needs and skills of the team.

Here’s a video of the HR Safari earlier this year to give you a bit of an idea of how it all plays out. We look forward to seeing the bus pull up again and inviting in a new group of HR tool seekers next year.
