c/o pop is a diverse music and creative festival held annually in the German city of Cologne, showcasing an eclectic lineup across multiple spaces, including clubs, theatres, the town hall and open-air stages.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the festival is part of the 'We are Europe' program, a collaboration between eight major European festivals (including Reworks and Sónar) that aims to encourage cultural diversity and development across nations.

Why we’re particularly interested, and get to be involved, is because part of the C/O POP FESTIVAL is the INTERACTIVE programme, featuring talks discussing the future of cultural and creative industries. We will be joining a group of experts discussing the theme ‘The Future of Spaces,’ shedding light on both analogue and algorithmic spaces, highlighting new insights with concrete best practices in an overarching understanding of space.

The Future of Spaces - Work as a habitat

Our Berlin Studio Director Verena Augustin, will be speaking on the panel ‘Arbeit Als (Er)Lebensraum – The Future of Spaces’.

Verena’s panel will explore how new technologies can enhance the physical and digital workspace, and how the spaces for new work impact who we are and how we work. She will be speaking alongside Marc T. Nicolaisen, Director Customer Experience of Steelcase, the leading manufacturer of innovative work environments.

Verena will be speaking on Thursday 30 August at 15:00 at the Cologne Chamber of Commerce | Memorizing Hall (EC).
